Automated Vehicle Research

Korea has been executing the 3 tasks consisting of ①Organization of legislation ②Infrastructure expansion ③Technology development support for 3-phase commercialization of Automated driving on highway by 2020 through establishment of 「Automated Vehicle Commercialization Support Plan」 with government support since 2015. KATRI has been executing R&D for ‘3 Key Automated Vehicle Safeties (Driving/Malfunction, communication/security, take over)’ for development of safety regulation along with KAIA in order to reinforce safety for Automated vehicles.
